Webmaster Tools: Character Counter

This form might come in handy if you don't happen to have access to a program on your computer (such as Microsoft Word) that's able to count the number of characters in a block of text. Why would you need something like this? Most of the time when you do things like submit your site for inclusion in a link directory, request membership in an affiliate program, etc, you will be asked to type a "title" or "description" for your site - and it will be limited to a certain number of characters. Unless you enjoy squinting and counting how many letters you've typed (hehe) you can have this program do the counting for you. Simply paste your text in the box and press the button. Enjoy!
