Paint Shop Pro Tutorial: Simple Button

This tutorial will teach you how to create a simple button for use on your website.

1.

Begin by creating a new document with white as the background and dimensions of 125x50 (or whatever other size you choose).

2.

Next, use the color selector to choose the color you would like to use for your button. In the example, I will use light blue. Select the Fill Tool and fill with your chosen color.

3.

Now, go to Image »Effects »Buttonize and set it to the following values:
Height=6, Width=9, Opacity=68, and make sure "Transparent Edge" is selected as well. You may modify these settings if you like, these were just the ones used in the example.

Example 1

4.

That's about it! You can now go on to add text or other attributes to the button and use it on your website.
