My name is David and I am 25 years old (some people call me Dave... and from others, for obvious reasons, I've inherited the nickname of "AC"). I grew up in California, lived in Nashville, TN for a while to play with a band (though now back in CA for the time being), and am persuing a career in music/ministry.
Ever since I was old enough to hold a pencil, I've been fascinated with art. Once I got a computer (well excluding my first Apple IIGS haha), I naturally became intrigued by web/graphic design... one thing led to another, and I now have a successful design company and a number of well known sites and online communities =)

Absolute Cross
Way back around 1996 I decided to put together a web site. The purpose of the site was to serve as an educational resource for budding graphic/web designers and webmasters, and to provide great free graphics of all kinds to those who need them. Over the years, I estimate I have spent well over 5000 hours building, rebuilding, and working on this site (as of the time this page was made, which was probably long ago by the time you're now reading this page haha). A lot has changed over the years, but the mission is still the same. Absolute Cross is my home and I truly hope you enjoy what you find here. I've put a lot of work into it with you in mind!
About Life
I feel that you can do anything you set out to do if you believe you can do it. I know that sounds cliche but trust me it's true. If you wish to accomplish a goal that's important to you, then you should do everything you can to work toward it. Don't let what others say stop you from reaching your dream. And also remember: nothing ventured, nothing gained.
